Inside eVentje, the modular Volkswagen ID.Buzz electric camper for four
Discover eVentje, a modular Volkswagen ID.Buzz electric camper for four with a full kitchen, pop-up roof, 350 W solar, 375 km range, pricing from €95,000.
eVentje is one of the most distinctive newcomers in the camper world. Dutch brand Ventje took the electric Volkswagen ID.Buzz and turned it into a fully fledged home on wheels for four, keeping the compact footprint and adding an interior that can reinvent itself on demand.
The core idea is maximum functionality in minimal space. The cabin is built around modular components and more than a hundred magnetic mounts. In moments, the lounge morphs into a workspace, a dining nook, or a double bed. A bed in the main cabin comes standard, and an extra sleeping area in the pop-up roof is available as an option.
The kitchen sits at the rear and impresses with its kit: an induction cooktop, a large refrigerator, a sink with running water, and drawers accessible both from outside and from the cabin. Two people can cook at once—one inside, the other under the open tailgate. Nearly every panel in the galley flips into a countertop, organizer, or storage bin, and the whole layout feels genuinely practical rather than showy.

Inside, there are hidden cubbies for a folding table and chairs, soft modules that turn into ottomans, and even a built-in toilet. For relaxing outdoors, the package includes an awning, curtains, ventilation, and finishes made from natural materials—details that help the van feel more like a small apartment than a weekend rig.
The energy setup is just as considered: a 350-watt solar panel, a 2.2 kW inverter, a dedicated 2.16 kWh battery, and an external power connection. The ID.Buzz itself offers a practical range of about 375 km, which is enough for several days of self-sufficient travel.
Pricing starts at 95,000 euros. It’s a steep tag, but eVentje is one of the few campervans that truly uses every bit of space, turning into a complete mobile home.
