General Motors is gearing up to launch production of the 2027 Chevrolet Colorado. The updated midsize pickup is scheduled to begin assembly on October 19, 2026, at GM's Missouri plant. That date is preliminary.
Dealers will be able to start entering preliminary orders for the 2027 Colorado beginning August 6, 2026.
Production of the 2026 model is planned to end on October 16, 2026, just days before the new version arrives. These dates may still change.
Earlier reports said GM is preparing front-end design revisions, interior updates, and possible powertrain changes for the Colorado. It is not yet clear whether the facelift will debut as a 2027 or 2028 model.
The current third-generation Colorado is powered by a 2.7-liter turbo gasoline engine. The future updated version may get a boost in power and torque, though there is no official confirmation.
