The Hummer X Pickup measures 207.3 inches (about 5.27 meters) long, while the SUV is 188.3 inches (around 4.78 meters). The pickup is 9.5 inches shorter than the production Hummer EV Pickup, and the SUV is more than 1.5 feet shorter than the current Hummer EV SUV. The idea is to retain Hummer's character while making the vehicle more compact and better suited for off-road use.

The SUV rides on 37-inch Goodyear tires, has 13.2 inches (33.5 cm) of ground clearance, and approach and departure angles of 44 and 46 degrees respectively. The pickup uses 35-inch tires and offers 12.5 inches (31.8 cm) of ground clearance.

Styling-wise, the concepts look lighter than the production Hummer EV. The body panels are cleaner, and removable fender flares plus exposed fasteners hint at customization potential.

GMC also showcased ideas for modular electronics. Inside, configurable displays change information based on the driving mode. Off-road mode can show tilt, angle, wheel position, and traction distribution. Another idea is the Hummer Hub app, which includes route functions and a reconnaissance drone that can scout the trail ahead.
