Perimeter Alarm теперь стандарт для XL и XLT. Ingot Silver уходит, Iconic Silver приходит. И да — кое-что Ford всё-таки убрал.

A small update commercial buyers have been waiting on for years. The 2027 Ford Transit now comes with Perimeter Alarm as standard equipment — meaning the cargo and passenger vans roll off the line already protected against break-ins. It’s available right at the base level on XL and XLT trims.

Perimeter Alarm watches the doors, the hood and the audio system. Try to force your way in — and the horn sounds along with the hazard lights. Arming is automatic the moment you lock the van. To shut it off, use the key or simply unlock the doors and start the engine.

The best part — no extra charge. On the 2027 Transit this is now standard. And remember, the 2026 model didn’t offer this feature at all. For commercial vehicles that’s a serious plus, especially if the van hauls expensive tools, equipment or merchandise.

And there’s more than just the alarm. Daytime running lamps are now standard on the commercial versions too. The paint palette adds Iconic Silver Metallic, replacing the outgoing Ingot Silver Metallic. There’s also a new Ford Security Package with a free one-year subscription — though renewal will cost extra.

It wasn’t all additions, though. The 2027 Transit loses headlamp courtesy delay, the tire inflator and sealant kit on the Cargo Van, wiper-activated headlamps and side parking sensors.
