Alpine's EV roadmap: A110 in 2026, A310 GT and two roadsters by 2030
Alpine outlines an all-electric A110 for 2026, a new A310 GT to rival the 911, and two electric roadsters on the APP platform, targeting seven EVs by 2030.
Alpine has outlined plans to expand its lineup and have two electric roadsters ready by 2030. As part of the Renault Group, the brand is accelerating its shift to electrification; following the A290 and the A390 crossover, a fresh wave of performance EVs is next in line. It’s an assertive move that suggests Alpine intends to keep driver-focused cars at the center of its electric push.
The next-generation Alpine A110 will debut in 2026. It will be the first fully electric iteration of the storied sports car, built on the new Alpine Performance Platform (APP). The platform is engineered for both coupe and roadster formats, preserving compact dimensions and a sporting temperament. The architecture can accommodate in-wheel motors, though Alpine has not confirmed them for production. The dual focus on coupe and roadster keeps the A110’s spirit intact, while the flexible hardware hints at genuine engineering ambition.
On the same APP will come an all-new A310, a four-seat GT aimed at the Porsche 911. It will also offer two body styles—a classic coupe and, unusually for the segment, a convertible. In design terms, the A310 will sit close to the new A110 yet lean more toward a futuristic look, with subtle echoes of the A390 crossover. Targeting the 911 sets the bar high, but the two-body approach and bolder styling show Alpine is serious about broadening its appeal.
The company indicates that the new A110 marks the start of the next chapter: lightweight electric sports cars are meant to retain the brand’s hallmark agility while bringing up-to-date technology. By 2030, Alpine plans to launch seven EVs in total, including a large D/E-segment SUV that has yet to be confirmed. It’s a bold cadence, and how far Alpine goes with features like in-wheel motors remains the intriguing variable.
