Nobody expected 810 horsepower from a plain road-going pickup — but Shelby American just built one anyway. The company has unveiled the new F-150 Super Snake SuperCrew, based on the all-wheel-drive Ford F-150 Lariat, and this isn’t another off-road project. It’s built for asphalt. At its heart is a 5.0-liter V8 with a Stage 2 supercharger. Running on 93-octane fuel, the engine produces more than 810 horsepower.
Beyond the blower, Shelby added an upgraded heat exchanger, high-performance fuel injectors, a carbon fiber intake, and a Borla exhaust system. The company is keeping exact torque and acceleration figures under wraps for now.
Handling here isn’t an afterthought: adjustable King coilovers, rear traction bars, a lowered suspension, and oversized perforated Baer brake rotors — all the real deal. The truck rides on 22-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 road tires. The takeaway is clear: the Super Snake isn’t built for hardcore off-roading, it’s built for fast asphalt driving.
Visually, the truck is almost unrecognizable: a new dual-intake hood, a front splitter, a redesigned grille, vented fenders, a painted tonneau cover, and signature stripes. Inside, buyers get leather seats, carbon fiber-style trim, extra gauges, and a serialized numbered plaque.
Shelby will build 400 examples at its facility in Bristol, Indiana. Pricing starts at $140,795, which already includes the base Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4. The truck carries a limited warranty of three years or 36,000 miles — roughly 58,000 km.
Ford previously acknowledged a weak point in its electric pickup.
