Hyundai has finally shown its hand: the 2027 Ioniq 5 has landed in Italy, and the local price list settles every question. Official pricing kicks in from 6 July 2026, and the lineup itself has been reshuffled — now it's XTech, Business and XClass. The opening number is €42,800.
The base rear-wheel-drive version gets a 63 kWh battery and a 170 hp electric motor. Claimed range sits at 440 km on the WLTP cycle. Want more? The 84 kWh, 228 hp variant stretches that to 570 km — and will set you back from €46,900.
And for those who want more than one motor, there's the all-wheel-drive Ioniq 5 with two electric motors producing a combined 325 hp. Range runs up to 546 km on 19-inch wheels or 500 km on 20-inch wheels. Prices range from €54,300 to €58,900.
Standard equipment now includes a driver attention monitoring camera — Hyundai clearly wants to make sure the driver is watching the road. There's also a next-generation eCall emergency system riding on 5G. And the traction battery comes with an eight-year, 160,000 km warranty — so you can drive with peace of mind.
