Nobody saw this kind of move coming from a carmaker — but Stellantis just made it. The Connect One suite of connected services for 2027 model year vehicles in the US is getting bigger, and it will run for ten years. Free. Not a single extra dollar.
The update covers most Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, FIAT and Alfa Romeo models — which means nearly the entire lineup on the American market.
What’s included in Connect One: remote engine start/stop, remote lock/unlock, over-the-air software updates, monthly vehicle health reports, recall alerts, service scheduling, automatic SOS calls, remote personal data wipe, and even in-app games through the brand’s App Market. This isn’t a one-time promo — it’s a ten-year free package. Everything is managed through the brand’s mobile app.
Owners will still have to pay for something — just less than before. The separate Connect Wi-Fi Plus package remains paid, but its price drops by $2, down to $15.99 a month. The subscription includes unlimited data for eight devices, vehicle finder, stolen vehicle assistance and connected navigation. New subscribers get a three-month free trial before they have to pay.
There’s a separate story for buyers of the Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Wagoneer S and Alfa Romeo 2027 model year vehicles. They get a bit more: three years of Connect Plus at no extra charge. The trial period differs, though — Wagoneer and Wagoneer S buyers get one month of free unlimited Wi-Fi (if activated within the first 30 days), while Alfa Romeo buyers get three months (or 1 GB) of data. The new terms take effect as each vehicle reaches the US market.
