The GV60 Magma hits Dutch showrooms from €86,900 — 650 hp, a 3.4-second sprint and a 425 km WLTP range in one wide-body package.

Genesis just showed what happens when engineers get free rein over a calm electric crossover. Meet the GV60 Magma — and yes, it’s already on sale in the Netherlands. The price list, in effect since 1 July 2026, starts at €86,900. Want the signature three-layer Magma Orange paint? That’ll be another €2,540.

The acceleration numbers speak for themselves. The two electric motors put out 609 hp and 740 Nm — and that’s not even the ceiling. Hit the Boost button, and for 15 seconds the crossover turns into a missile: 650 hp, 790 Nm. 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. 0-200 km/h in 10.9 seconds. Top speed: 264 km/h. A family EV simply doesn’t move like this.

An 84 kWh battery delivers 425 km on the WLTP cycle, and charging from 10 to 80% takes 18 minutes — enough time to grab a coffee and get back behind the wheel with a full charge. There’s just as much going on underneath: electronically controlled dampers, revised suspension geometry, 400 mm front brake discs and 21-inch wheels — none of it for show, all of it there to put the power down on the tarmac.

The Magma’s body is 50 mm wider than the standard GV60’s, and ride height drops by 20 mm — the car visibly hugs the road. An exact delivery date for Dutch customers hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s clearly worth the wait.
