GAC staged a major presentation at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2025, where it unveiled the production-ready Govy AirCab flying car. Alongside it, the company showed the Aion UT and Aion V electric models, the M8 hybrid, and the Hyptec HT—an ensemble that underscores the Thailand Initiative 2.0 strategy aimed at advancing new forms of mobility. The showcase was described on the company’s site as a large-scale debut, reflecting two years of groundwork in the market.

The Govy AirCab is engineered with an emphasis on light construction and intelligent safety systems. Its current scenarios focus on low-altitude tourism, with plans to adapt the model for urban transport and emergency assistance later on. The balance of weight-saving design and smart safeguards hints at a pragmatic route from sightseeing flights to practical city operations.

Between January and October 2025, GAC sold more than 10,000 vehicles in Thailand—up 149% year over year. The brand is among the top three by market share in the country’s new energy vehicle segment, a trajectory that suggests real traction with local buyers.

GAC is also expanding collaboration with the Northeastern Royal Technological University through training programs. Looking ahead to 2026, the manufacturer plans to grow its service network and introduce faster response mechanisms for customers. Against this backdrop, the debut stands out as one of the show’s key premieres, signaling intent not just to make headlines, but to build a lasting presence.
