Five cars. Worldwide. That is the entire production run of the Rezvani Beast X, and the Californian outfit looks determined to settle the argument about what an American hypercar should be: designed, engineered and built entirely in the USA. The full reveal is set for August 10, 2026.
That Monday falls inside Monterey Car Week, which runs from August 7 to 16, although Rezvani has not said where exactly the car will appear. The reservation listing already calls it a 2027 model.
At its heart sits a custom-built 6.2-liter V8 with fully forged internals, feeding an all-wheel-drive system. Rezvani claims 1,560 hp, or roughly 1,582 metric hp. Remember that number, because no Beast has ever come close to it.
To grasp the size of the jump, look at the second-generation Beast from 2024. It is based on the Chevrolet Corvette C8, its twin-turbo 6.2-liter V8 delivers 1,000 hp, the run to 60 mph takes 2.5 seconds and everything goes to the rear axle through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Only 20 were built, priced from 485,000 dollars. The Beast X piles another 560 horsepower and a second driven axle on top of that.
Where the all-wheel drive comes from, Rezvani will not say. Carscoops suspects the donor could be the Corvette E-Ray with its electric motor on the front axle, but that is the outlet’s theory rather than a company statement.
The claimed sprint from a standstill to 60 mph takes 1.9 seconds, which is hybrid hypercar territory, even though Rezvani mentions no electrified hardware at all. The body will be carbon fiber. Everything else, from weight to top speed to transmission, stays under wraps.
The X badge is not new here: back in 2015 it belonged to an Ariel Atom-based Beast with 700 hp and a 325,000-dollar sticker. That run was capped at five cars as well.
Deposits are already being taken: 1,500 dollars, refundable, for one of the five production slots. The full price has not been announced, and nobody seems to be in a hurry.
