Bugatti Tourbillon: 1,800-hp V16 hybrid is already sold out
All 250 Bugatti Tourbillons are sold out at €3.8M each. The 1,800-hp V16 plug-in hybrid does 0–100 km/h in 2.0 s, 445 km/h top speed, with deliveries through 2029. Capped at 250 units.
Bugatti has shown that ultraluxury plays by its own rules: the entire run of the Tourbillon hypercar is already sold out, even though deliveries haven’t begun. The car was unveiled in June 2024, yet all 250 units priced at €3.8 million already have owners. Bugatti Rimac head Mate Rimac said there would be no “extra” Tourbillons: the plan remains fixed, and production will stretch to 2029. The company aims to build around 80 cars a year, and it’s a safe bet few customers will skip the pricey options.

Technically, the Tourbillon doubles down on a big internal‑combustion heart — exactly what many buyers at this level expect. At its core sits a naturally aspirated 8.3‑liter V16 from Cosworth, rated at 1,000 hp, mounted ahead of the rear axle and driving the rear wheels. It works with three 340‑hp electric motors — two up front and one at the rear — to create an all‑wheel‑drive plug‑in hybrid with a combined output of about 1,800 hp. A 25‑kWh battery promises up to 60 km of electric‑only range, while overall mass stays just under two tonnes.
Performance figures are claimed at 0–100 km/h in 2.0 s, 0–200 in under 5 s, and 0–400 in under 25 s, with top speed capped at 445 km/h. The design nods to the Type 57 SC Atlantic, the cabin sticks to a mechanical, screen‑free philosophy, and the Équipe Pur Sang version stands out with eight exhaust outlets.
