Toyota has revealed the 2027 model year of the American C-HR EV — and, honestly, changed almost nothing. The electric crossover is virtually identical to the 2026 car. The base SE grade starts at $37,080 before the dealer fee, just $80 more than its predecessor. Sales begin in September.
Every version comes with two electric motors and all-wheel drive — Toyota isn't cutting corners even on the base grade. Combined output is 338 hp. The sprint to 60 mph takes 4.9 seconds. The traction battery has a 74.7-kWh capacity.
The SE on 18-inch wheels is rated for up to 287 miles under the EPA cycle. The XSE on 20-inch wheels is a bit more modest at 273 miles. The NACS port opens up access to compatible fast-charging stations, and a 10-80% charge takes about 30 minutes under the right conditions.
