The 2027 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 unlocks Convenience Package III for the first time, adding a six-way power passenger seat, memory settings and more.

Chevrolet is finally doing something Colorado ZR2 owners have wanted for years. For the 2027 model year, the off-road-focused trim gets access to Convenience Package III for the first time ever. The Z71 trim gets the same option, too.

The package isn't a minor add-on. It brings a six-way power-adjustable front passenger seat with power lumbar support, driver's seat memory settings, a rear center armrest, a map pocket on the driver's seatback, a heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats.

Without Convenience Package III, the 2027 Colorado's front passenger seat stays stuck with four-way manual adjustment. The six-way power version is reserved for the Z71 and ZR2 alone.

At the same time, Chevrolet made a quieter but intriguing change: the 2.7-liter TurboMax engine switches its designation from L3B to L4B. Whether the new code signals an actual change under the hood, the automaker hasn't said yet.
