Alfa Romeo wants to squeeze every last drop of summer demand out of its compact crossover — and it just rolled out one of its boldest offers of the season in Italy. The Junior Ibrida Sprint can now be had for €27,950 instead of the usual €32,950. That is a full €5,000 off, and it is not some token seasonal gesture. There is a catch, though: the discount only applies with financing, only through participating dealers, and only until August 31.
Under the hood sits a 1.2-liter turbo engine paired with a 48-volt hybrid system and a 21-kW electric motor. Combined output comes to 145 hp, sent through a six-speed eDCT6 dual-clutch gearbox. Official WLTP figures put the whole hybrid lineup at 4.8–5.3 l/100 km, with CO2 emissions of 109–119 g/km. Modest around town, punchy enough on the highway.
The Sprint trim doesn't show up empty-handed: 17-inch wheels, full LED lighting, automatic climate control, and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen all come standard. The final deal terms, though, can vary from dealer to dealer — worth double-checking before you sign anything.
Alfa Romeo's special Japan-market Junior series made headlines earlier. That version carried a price of €27,845 and a €3,700 discount — figures that don't match the current official Italian offer, so don't mix up the two promotions.
