Aston Martin DB12 S and Valhalla AMR: specs, power, and 2026 launch
Aston Martin reveals the 2026 DB12 S and Valhalla AMR: 700 hp V8 coupe and 1,000+ hp hybrid hypercar, revised aero, track-tuned chassis, Nürburgring-tested.
Aston Martin is widening its lineup and readying two headline additions for 2026 — the DB12 S coupe and the hybrid Valhalla AMR hypercar. Both are engineered for maximum pace and benefit from comprehensive technical revisions, a clear push to sharpen the brand’s performance edge.
The DB12 S adopts an upgraded AMG 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 tuned to 700 hp and 800 Nm. It sprints to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and tops out at 325 km/h. The chassis has been reworked with Bilstein DTX dampers, a stiffer rear anti-roll bar, fresh suspension calibration, and carbon-ceramic brakes that trim 30 kg. Visually, the S looks more purposeful thanks to a twin-element front splitter, vented hood, fixed rear spoiler, and four vertically stacked exhaust outlets.

The Aston Martin Valhalla AMR is a track-focused evolution of the mid-engined supercar. Prototypes have been seen repeatedly at the Nürburgring as it undergoes final testing. The AMR package brings revised aerodynamics, including a larger splitter, a substantial active rear wing, new air intakes, and updated lighting.
Its hybrid powertrain pairs a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with three electric motors for a system output of over 1,000 hp. The figures are striking: 0–100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and a 350 km/h top speed. At 240 km/h, it generates more than 600 kg of downforce, which, on paper, should allow a Nürburgring lap in under 6 minutes 30 seconds.
