There's something fitting about this: the Zeekr X is built right here in Chengdu, and it's here, at the Chengdu Motor Show 2026, that the compact electric crossover made yet another appearance—not as a debutant, but as the home team. Tarantas.News looked the car over on the stand. There's no premiere to speak of—the current 2026 model year already launched back on November 5, 2025. But the numbers on the price list are still worth a closer look.
The Chinese lineup currently runs on three trims. The five-seat Max is priced at 155,800 yuan, the four-seat Max at 159,800 yuan, and the all-wheel-drive Ultra tops the range at 175,800 yuan.
The tech side is where the Zeekr X stops playing in the budget league. Rear-wheel-drive versions get a 250 kW (340 hp) electric motor and 373 Nm of torque—a serious jump for a city crossover. A 61.47 kWh battery is rated for 530 km on the CLTC cycle, and DC fast charging from 10 to 80% takes a claimed 15 minutes—quicker than some gas SUVs spend idling in line for a pump. The all-wheel-drive Ultra goes further still, putting out 365 kW, or 496 horsepower, and 573 Nm, sprinting to 100 km/h in 3.69 seconds—a number plenty of hot hatches wouldn't be ashamed of. The price for that speed is a slightly shorter range: the 66 kWh battery delivers 512 km CLTC, and a fast charge stretches to roughly half an hour.
Dimensions are identical across every version: 4,450x1,836x1,572 mm, with a 2,750 mm wheelbase. Inside, the signature trick carries over—a 14.6-inch central touchscreen that slides toward the passenger side; both four- and five-seat layouts are available. The update brings new trim and equipment options, but the Zeekr X's overall silhouette is instantly recognizable—Zeekr isn't rushing to fix what already works.
