420 horsepower was apparently just the opening line. The gap between a stock Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RST with the 6.2 V8 and the new Callaway-Waldoch Launch Edition comes out to 182 hp. The factory engine makes 420 hp and roughly 460 lb-ft, while Callaway's SC602 supercharger package pushes those numbers to 602 hp and 560 lb-ft. That's about a 43% jump in power and a 22% jump in torque.
And here's the part that actually changes the game: Callaway and Waldoch aren't asking buyers to purchase a regular Silverado first and then go hunting for a shop. All 100 numbered trucks can be ordered straight through Chevrolet's authorized dealer network, just like any other pickup on the lot. The upgrades carry a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty on top of GM's applicable factory coverage.
At its core, it's still a 2026 Silverado RST with the 6.2-liter L87. Callaway bolts on a 2650cc Roots-type supercharger, along with a reworked intake, exhaust, and ECU calibration. Waldoch adds a lowered suspension, 22-inch wheels, and brakes with six-piston calipers and 15-inch (381mm) front rotors.
Motor1 reports pricing lands in the mid-$90,000 range. The official release doesn't name an exact figure — and with a run of just 100 units, it probably never will.
The Launch Edition is the first joint vehicle from Callaway and Waldoch, not a one-off show truck. The partners have already said they plan to move into specialty SUVs built on GM platforms. So the real test for this alliance won't be selling out 100 Silverados — it'll be whatever the second product from this new pairing turns out to be.
