Xiaomi Auto’s new international site confirms a 2027 European launch and opens dealer inquiries — but prices, models and countries are still a mystery.

Xiaomi just did the one thing Europe has been waiting for — only not quite the way most people pictured it. Xiaomi Auto’s European expansion has moved from promises into building an actual sales network. On its new international website, the company didn’t just repeat that Xiaomi cars are officially coming to Europe in 2027 — it opened a channel for dealer and distribor inquiries. And that step is exactly what sets this announcement apart from every previous one.

Hold on — that doesn’t mean sales start tomorrow. The global site still has no local pricing, no configurator, and no way to place an order. Xiaomi hasn’t revealed which countries or production models will launch first in Europe, either. So the SU7, SU7 Ultra and other projects shown on the page are a brand showcase, not a confirmed European lineup. Not yet.

The “2027” timeline has been floated before. What’s new is the infrastructure behind it. Xiaomi president William Lu said back in May that the company plans to begin its international automotive expansion in the third or fourth quarter of 2027. The new website only confirms the year itself — the specific quarter still isn’t stated.

And this isn’t some scrappy startup anymore. Xiaomi is approaching the expansion with serious numbers behind it: by its own count, cumulative vehicle deliveries topped 700,000 units as of July 30, with 381,000 of those being first-generation SU7s. That scale is enough to look beyond China — but Europe will demand its own type approval, service infrastructure and local support, and a website launch alone won’t cover that.

The next real proof of intent won’t be another “2027” announcement — it’ll be actual markets and models named. For now, Xiaomi has officially locked in exactly two things: Europe is part of the 2027 expansion, and the search for sales and distribution partners has already begun.
