Auto expert Dmitry Novikov compiled for 32CARS.RU a ranking of the most reliable crossovers capable of covering more than 200,000 kilometers without fuss. He noted that these models earned a reputation for being virtually indestructible thanks to their straightforward design, robust suspensions, and hardy powertrains.

Topping the list is the Toyota RAV4, long a benchmark for reliability. Even early-2000s cars with close to 300,000 kilometers keep going without major intervention. Naturally aspirated engines paired with conventional automatics stand up to years of use, and the suspension takes poor roads in stride.

The Honda CR-V is also famed for its staying power: with timely servicing it easily reaches 300,000 kilometers, while its transmission and engines offer little cause for complaint. The Subaru Forester adds its signature all-wheel drive to the mix and proves durable as well; with careful upkeep it will serve for more than a decade.

The premium Lexus RX with naturally aspirated V6s shows that longevity and the luxury class can go hand in hand. And the Renault Duster and its twin, the Nissan Terrano, remain simple, tough workhorses: a chain drive, a sturdy suspension, and minimal electronics help them sail past the 300,000-kilometer mark.

In my view, this list underscores a simple truth: real dependability isn’t about a fresh body style or dazzling screens, but about thoughtful engineering. These crossovers are built to run long and without surprises — which is why they’ve earned enduring respect on the used market.
