The MINI Countryman E has produced a more interesting surprise in Turkey than its 501 km driving range alone. The Favoured Plus is offered in September for 3.687 million lira, while the current Turkish price list shows a recommended price of 3.9213 million lira for the same version. The difference is 234,300 lira, or almost 6%. That suddenly looks far more interesting than a routine trim update.
Favoured Plus is not a September debut, however. MINI Türkiye introduced the version on August 21. Official specifications confirm 150 kW, or 204 hp, a battery with 65.2 kWh usable and 66.5 kWh gross capacity, and a WLTP range of 454–501 km.
The equipment list helps explain the positioning. It includes Driver Assistant Plus, Parking Assistant Plus, a surround-view camera system, augmented-reality navigation, 19-inch two-tone wheels and tinted rear windows. The official Favoured Plus page also lists an active driver’s seat with electric lumbar adjustment and a massage function.
There is another pricing twist. The Countryman E with the John Cooper Works package is listed in September at 3.814 million lira. That means Favoured Plus is more than a cosmetic specification: buyers get an expanded suite of electronic driver aids and the maximum range available from the front-wheel-drive Countryman E while staying below the price of the John Cooper Works version.
What is not new to Turkey is the 501 km figure itself. MINI announced the technical update for the electric Countryman in January 2026, and updated cars began reaching markets from March. The longer range came partly from a new SiC inverter, an increase in usable battery capacity to 65.2 kWh and lower friction losses. At the same time, MINI continues to reshape local line-ups: in Japan, for example, the more affordable Countryman S ALL4 Select arrived in the summer.
