Citroen has unveiled a new take on its compact electric e-C3, the Urban Range, now the most accessible version of the model. In France, prices start at €20,490, which is almost €3,400 below the standard electric C3.

Tailored for everyday city driving, the e-C3 Urban Range uses a 30‑kWh battery rated for up to 304 km on the WLTP cycle. Visually, it mirrors the pricier trims fitted with the 44‑kWh pack, so the budget-friendly choice doesn’t bring obvious compromises in design.

The lineup spans You, Plus, and Max specifications. The entry model brings 16‑inch steel wheels, automatic climate control, a digital instrument cluster, and rear parking sensors. Stepping up adds 17‑inch wheels, LED lighting, a 10.25‑inch central display, and a rearview camera.

For those who want shorter charging stops, DC fast charging at up to 30 kW is available, in line with the battery’s capacity. Taken together—price, compact footprint, and usable range—the new e-C3 shapes up as a particularly compelling city EV in its class.
