Octo has unveiled a predictive anti-theft platform that taps artificial intelligence, machine learning, and a sensor network to identify theft risk before a crime unfolds. It is designed for both private cars and corporate fleets.

Backed by more than 22 years of experience and 610 billion kilometers of telematics data, the system shifts vehicle protection from reactive measures to a proactive posture. It monitors tampering attempts, detects abnormal movement when the engine is off, and identifies any loss of communication with installed devices.

A dedicated module examines driver behavior, comparing driving style, habitual routes, and trip timing with the usual pattern. Geofencing highlights areas with high theft statistics, as well as port and border zones, issuing a warning as a vehicle approaches. For insurers and large fleets, it doubles as a real-time vehicle verification tool. The blend of behavioral analysis and geofencing feels pragmatic, offering earlier signals and clearer oversight without adding complexity.

When an alert is triggered, Octo’s monitoring center activates tracking, location, and intervention tools, handling thousands of car theft cases each year. The response is built around one idea: move early and confirm quickly.
