Alfa Romeo has broadened the Junior crossover family with the Sport Speciale. It slots between the standard versions and the 280-hp, range-topping Veloce, which comes in at a noticeably higher price. The newcomer is aimed at those who find the flagship a bit much—whether in cost or in overall format.

The Junior Sport Speciale stands out with gloss-black exterior accents, 18-inch Fori wheels, and signature badging. Inside, it features power-adjustable, heated front seats trimmed in perforated Alcantara. The equipment list is generous, yet it doesn’t turn every extra into standard kit; the balance feels intentional, adding a dash of drama without overdoing it.

The Alfa Romeo Junior Sport Speciale is priced at 40,450 euros. Buyers can choose a 145-hp hybrid powertrain or a fully electric version with 156 hp. Adaptive cruise control and matrix headlights come as part of a separate package, while the EV can be specified with a heat pump at additional cost. With a few options, the total can edge close to the Veloce.
