DS 3 Performance Line is back: features, powertrains, prices
DS 3 Performance Line returns with Alcantara trim, LED tech, 145 hp 48V mild-hybrid or 156 hp E‑Tense EV (54 kWh, up to 400 km). Spain prices from €35,591.
DS Automobiles has brought the Performance Line trim back to the DS 3 range — the very version many considered the sweet spot for price, equipment, and an athletic image. After a round of lineup reshuffles and its unexpected disappearance, it’s back in the configurator, and orders in Spain are already open — a move that makes sense for a style-led compact.

The DS 3 lineup now includes Pallas, Performance Line, Jules Verne, and Étoile. In the Performance Line specification you’ll find LED lighting, 17-inch alloy wheels, tinted rear windows, a digital instrument cluster with a touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, heated front seats, a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, lane-keeping assists, and e-Call. A neat finishing touch is the Alcantara-trimmed cabin — a choice that suits the car’s character and keeps the sporty brief cohesive.
As for hardware, the Performance Line comes with two powertrains. The base setup pairs a 1.2‑liter turbocharged engine with a 48‑volt mild-hybrid system (MHEV): 145 hp, 230 Nm, a six-speed automated transmission, and front-wheel drive, with ECO classification. For zero-emission driving there’s the DS 3 E‑Tense: a 115 kW (156 hp) electric motor, 260 Nm, and a 54 kWh battery, with a claimed range of up to 400 km on the WLTP cycle.
Prices in Spain (before discounts): Hybrid 145 — €35,591; E‑Tense — €42,891.
