Chevrolet’s 2026 Captiva EV is headed to Ecuador as the brand’s fourth fully electric model offered in the country, joining the Blazer EV, Equinox EV, and Spark EUV.

As in other South American markets where it has already been introduced, the 2026 Captiva EV will be sold in Ecuador exclusively in Premier trim. This version stands out with a two-tone exterior that includes a standard black roof and darkened accents, and it brings the most comprehensive package of technology and safety features in its class. The contrasting roof subtly lends the car a more upmarket look without trying too hard.

The 2026 Captiva EV Premier uses a single front-mounted electric motor rated at 201 horsepower. Power comes from a 60-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery that supports DC fast charging and delivers a CLTC-rated 510 km (317 miles) on a single charge—a figure that should make everyday range planning feel easy.

In Ecuador, the Captiva EV is backed by an eight-year or 160,000-km powertrain warranty, and it is priced at $30,990.
