Ferrari has announced a strategic partnership with Samsung Display to develop next-generation screens. The Korean company will supply automotive OLED panels for the brand’s future models, a decision made after assessing the technology’s strengths in design, image quality, and format flexibility.

Ferrari’s head of R&D Ernesto Lasalandra pointed to thin, lightweight panels, near-perfect blacks, and high contrast as the decisive factors. Those qualities open the door to bespoke screen layouts and a higher level of user experience in the premium segment. Samsung’s OLED displays give Ferrari more freedom to shape the cabin and personalize interfaces for both driver and passenger—an important lever for a marque that treats the cockpit as a crafted space.

Samsung Display said the collaboration reflects shared values: a focus on innovation, exacting standards, and the evolution of user technologies. It noted that modern cars are increasingly digital spaces, with the display at the center of that shift. In high-end models, that point rings especially true, as screens now frame how the car greets and guides its occupants.

Adopting OLED solutions becomes part of Ferrari’s broader drive toward digitalization and a richer user experience. The new technology is expected to debut in 2026 models, strengthening the visual impact and functionality of future sports-car interiors. If executed well, contrast-rich graphics and flexible form factors should make the cabins feel both cleaner and more expressive.
