Skoda Kodiaq Select PHEV confirmed for Australia in 2026
Discover the 2026 Skoda Kodiaq Select PHEV for Australia: AWD plug-in hybrid, 204 hp, 112 km WLTP EV range, 50 kW charging, rich kit and Signature pack.
Skoda has announced it will bring a new version of the Kodiaq to the Australian market—the Select PHEV plug-in hybrid. Sales are set to start in early 2026, with this variant positioned between the Sportline and RS trims. That placement aims at buyers who want more substance than the middle tiers without stepping up to the flagship.
The all-wheel-drive SUV combines a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine with an 85 kW electric motor for a system output of 204 hp and 350 Nm. Skoda quotes 0-100 km/h in 8.4 seconds and up to 112 km of electric range on the WLTP cycle. The battery supports charging at up to 50 kW, and average fuel use is listed at 1.85 L/100 km. On paper, that EV reach could cover typical weekday driving, which could keep the engine mostly in reserve.
Standard kit includes 19-inch wheels, three-zone climate control, a 13-inch infotainment display, wireless charging and a broad suite of driver-assistance systems. The optional Signature package adds massage seats, matrix headlights and a surround-view camera. It’s a modern, well-judged spec that avoids unnecessary flash.
Arriving among 2026’s newcomers, the Kodiaq PHEV blends usable performance, comfort and efficiency, positioning itself as a credible contender in today’s field of hybrid SUVs.
