TVR opens Las Vegas showroom with restored Cerbera and Tuscan
British marque TVR returns to the US with a Las Vegas showroom showcasing restored Cerbera and Tuscan models by Str8six for collectors of classic sports cars.
After a 40-year hiatus, British sports-car maker TVR is returning to the United States. Its first showroom will open in Las Vegas, where restored models from the 1990s and 2000s will take center stage.
The venture is led by TVR Garage, founded by former BMW, McLaren and Fisker employees Andy Hughes and Gavin Bristow. The 1,400-square-meter space will display cars that are at least 25 years old, which allows them to sidestep the strict U.S. safety and emissions rules. Every car undergoes a full restoration by British partner Str8six before being shipped to the U.S. It’s a pragmatic formula that respects the marque’s past while navigating regulations and giving buyers confidence.
For now, two models are confirmed: the TVR Cerbera and the TVR Tuscan. The brand’s newest sports car, the TVR Griffith—developed to a Gordon Murray design—has not yet entered production. Leaning on the Cerbera and Tuscan plays to TVR’s strengths: visceral design and an unfiltered driving spirit.
TVR’s return to the U.S. marks an important step in preserving the legacy of the storied British brand and could catch the eye of collectors seeking classic sports cars. With careful curation and quality restorations, the plan has the potential to spark renewed enthusiasm where rarity and character matter most.
