Zeekr 9X hybrid SUV: strong start with 10,000+ December deliveries
Zeekr’s flagship 9X hybrid SUV debuts strong, surpassing 10,000 December deliveries. See specs, 300–380 km EV range, and why buyers embrace Chinese luxury.
Zeekr says its flagship 9X hybrid SUV is off to a strong start: the brand reports that December alone saw deliveries top 10,000 units. It hasn’t shared the precise tally, yet that message is telling — for a high-priced model from a Chinese marque, it points to buyers willing to pay for homegrown luxury rather than just chase familiar premium badges.
Launched on September 29, the 9X is Zeekr’s first hybrid after a lineup built largely around pure EVs. With a starting price of 465,900 yuan, it ranks among the most expensive Chinese models, firmly in the upper reaches of the country’s premium segment. Size backs up the positioning: at more than 5.2 meters long with a 3,169 mm wheelbase, it sits in the full-size, six-seat SUV class.
The hybrid strategy stands out as well. Battery choices of 55 or 70 kWh come with a claimed 300–380 km of electric-only range on the CLTC cycle. The idea is less about symbolic electrification and more about enabling most everyday journeys on electric power while keeping the freedom to tackle longer trips without compromise.
