Mitsubishi has stoked talk of a Pajero return with a new corporate video, where a silhouette of the future flagship SUV flashes near the end. The vehicle appears in shadow and in a Ralliart setting, which comes across as a deliberate nod to the brand’s off-road and performance legacy.

Crucially, the newcomer’s proportions aren’t crossover-like: a high hood, upright lines, a more blocky cabin and increased ground clearance point to a serious off-road foundation rather than another city-focused crossover.

The teaser also shows familiar Mitsubishi touches: vertical daytime running lights and a horizontal light signature. The front end visually echoes the Destinator for Southeast Asia, yet the body looks noticeably larger and squarer. In profile, the side steps and the overall stance suggest body-on-frame underpinnings.
