Singer Vehicle Design will make its first appearance at Tokyo Auto Salon 2026, with Cornes Motors confirming the display of a Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer — Classic Turbo Services. The showcase will run January 9–11, 2026 at Makuhari Messe (Chiba), in the North Hall, at THE MAGARIGAWA CLUB booth No. 1027. For Japan’s Porsche faithful, it’s a long-awaited sight.

Cornes notes that in May 2024 the company entered into a partnership with Singer Vehicle Design — a Los Angeles–based California studio known for restoring and “reimagining” air-cooled Porsche 911s of the 964 generation. On the Japanese side, the role covers communications and support, helping clients with purchase, service, and ongoing maintenance.

There is also the matter of how to refer to these projects correctly. Singer emphasizes that this is neither manufacturing nor the sale of automobiles, but a bespoke service to restore and reinterpret the 911 (1989–1994) on the 964 chassis; the proper wording is only Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer. The studio additionally states that it has no sponsorship or certification ties with Porsche AG or Porsche Cars North America — this is independent work carried out with respect for the brand and its trademarks. The precision in wording matters, as it keeps the line clear between an independent specialist and the factory nameplate.
