DR Automobiles has unveiled the refreshed DR 3 for 2026, a compact crossover that replaces the previous DR 3.0. It keeps its wallet-friendly positioning while adopting a sharper look, a tidier cabin, and a broader list of features—an update that feels focused and sensible rather than flashy for the sake of it.

The 2026 DR 3 is based on the Chery Tiggo 3x and comes with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine rated at 116 hp, or an LPG-ready version with 114 hp that carries the ECO environmental badge. Buyers can choose between a manual gearbox or a CVT, with power sent to the front wheels.

Inside, the crossover offers a digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, 360-degree cameras, and eco-leather upholstery. Standard equipment includes climate control, tire pressure monitoring, and the e-Call system. The kit covers everyday needs smartly, which is often where budget crossovers stumble.
