HARMAN, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, announced updates to its Ready platforms and in-car audio solutions. The company said the new “road-ready” products are already available for automakers to integrate and are designed to speed development while reducing the complexity of bringing digital features into the cabin.

HARMAN notes that as AI becomes a baseline expectation, the edge comes not from the mere presence of technology but from the way it’s implemented—focusing on safety, usefulness, and the ability to deliver updates throughout the vehicle’s life. The message is clear: thoughtful execution matters more than flashy specs.

On the SDV side, the lineup includes Ready CQuence Loop for cloud-based creation, testing, and validation; Ready CQuence Run, a Type-1 hypervisor that isolates systems with different levels of criticality; and update solutions such as OTA, Smart Delta, and the Ready Link Marketplace. According to the company, OTA updates are supported on more than 80 million vehicles, and the catalog offers over 190 apps and features.

For audio personalization, HARMAN offers Ready StreamShare with four independent media zones, HALOsonic for synthesizing a signature sound, and HARMAN Branded Audio with AI-driven enhancements. The focus here is on shaping character and comfort inside the cabin rather than merely chasing volume numbers.

In the safety block, the company lists Ready Care for monitoring the driver and passengers, Ready Connect with 4G/5G and satellite connectivity, and Ready Aware for V2N alerts. These solutions target new vehicles from 2026 onward and the next generations of digital platforms.
