Jeep's European chief Fabio Catone has stated that the brand intends to remain part of Stellantis in Europe for the foreseeable future. He emphasized that the support from the conglomerate is crucial for Jeep's development and the expansion of its model lineup, which includes SUVs like the Compass, Wagoneer, and Recon.

Catone explained that Stellantis provides Jeep with the capability to launch new vehicles into the market. He noted that between 2023 and the present, the brand has introduced several models, including the Avenger, Compass, and Recon, with plans to continue expanding its range.

This statement comes amid reports that Stellantis is evaluating the long-term viability of all its owned brands due to slowing sales. According to publications, this review is being conducted by Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa, who was appointed following the departure of founder Carlos Tavares.

Catone described the partnership between Jeep and Stellantis as mutually beneficial. The new Jeep Compass is already available for order and will be offered in hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric versions as part of the new vehicle lineup for 2026.
