Suzuki has taken a significant step toward electric vehicles with the public debut of the e VITARA electric crossover at the Singapore Motor Show 2026. The showcase was organized by Champion Motors Singapore, the brand's official distributor in the country, where the new model was displayed alongside the Fronx.

The e VITARA marks Suzuki's first mass-produced, fully electric SUV. It is built on the new Heartect-e EV platform, designed to enhance body rigidity, improve safety, and optimize efficiency, serving as a foundation for the brand's future electric models.

In terms of design, the e VITARA features rugged body elements, extended wheel arches, and a confident ground clearance. Suzuki emphasizes that the model is aimed at urban use while maintaining stable road handling and balanced weight distribution.

The interior includes two digital panels for the driver and multimedia, support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and a 360-degree camera. For comfort, it offers ventilated front seats, an electric driver's seat adjustment, soft-touch materials, and ambient lighting.

Safety is handled by a Level 2 ADAS suite, including adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist. Overall, the crossover is positioned as a practical option among new cars for 2026, highlighting its appeal to buyers seeking modern features and reliable performance.
