Lamborghini isn’t afraid to stir things up: fifteen years on, the brand has revived the Tricolore name, last heard on the Gallardo LP 550–2 Tricolore back in 2011. The new interpretation debuted at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, and the paint job split onlookers instantly. But behind the loud name is not a standalone performance variant — it’s a Temerario personalization project, created by Centro Stile together with the Ad Personam program.
The real story here isn’t the engineering — it’s the paint, and it’s deliberately provocative. The lower body is finished in a deep Blu Marinus Shiny, the upper section in Bianco Monocerus white. The mirrors, wheels and several other elements get glossy Nero Noctis black, the brake calipers are painted red, and the hood carries a graphic in the green, white and red of the Italian flag. Inside, black Nero Ade trim is paired with red Rosso Alala stitching and Tricolore lettering on the doors.
What you won’t find is any extra power. None at all. Like the standard Temerario, the car pairs a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 with three electric motors. Combined output is 920 hp, 0–62 mph (0–100 km/h) takes 2.7 seconds, and the Temerario’s claimed top speed reaches 343 km/h (213 mph). The combustion engine spins all the way to 10,000 rpm — arguably the only genuinely jaw-dropping engineering figure here.
And that’s exactly what sets the Tricolore apart from a typical special edition with a tuned engine or reworked chassis. Lamborghini is using the car mainly to showcase what Ad Personam can do — the personalization program that turned 20 in 2026. The automaker previously revealed two other bespoke Temerario Ad Personam builds at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Lamborghini hasn’t announced a fixed price for the Temerario Tricolore. It hasn’t announced a production number either — which means calling this car a limited series would be inaccurate: the automaker defines it specifically as a bespoke configuration.
