Rolls-Royce Phantom Arabesque with laser-engraved bonnet
Rolls-Royce reveals the Phantom Arabesque, featuring the brand's first laser-engraved bonnet inspired by Middle Eastern patterns. Discover this ultra-luxury customization.
Rolls-Royce has unveiled the unique Phantom Arabesque, commissioned through its Private Office Dubai. The model's standout feature is the brand's first-ever laser-engraved bonnet. This technology was developed over five years at the Exterior Surface Centre in Goodwood.

The design draws inspiration from traditional Middle Eastern mashrabiya lattice patterns. The bonnet is painted in Diamond Black as a base, then coated with multiple layers of lacquer and a silver top layer. After curing, the surface is engraved to a depth of 145–190 microns, revealing the dark base. This creates a textured effect with visual depth. Final finishing is done by hand.
Exterior touches include a lit Pantheon grille with dark chrome surround, an illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy mascot, and 22-inch polished wheels. Inside, the cabin features inlays of Blackwood and Black Bolivar that repeat the pattern, along with Selby Grey and Black leather trim. The decor is enhanced by Starlight headlining and custom treadplates.
The Phantom Arabesque exemplifies how ultra-luxury showroom debuts are moving beyond standard models, showcasing the potential for personalization and new technologies.
