Ford is continuing to adjust the Bronco Sport's equipment strategy. For the 2026 model year, the roof rail mounts, previously included in the Black Diamond Off-Road and Sasquatch packages, are now a separate paid option. In 2025, owners of the Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands trims received these components as part of those packages.

Now, the mounts require an additional $495, and they can only be installed if the corresponding package is selected. For the Big Bend, this means the $1,895 Black Diamond Off-Road package is necessary. The Outer Banks requires the $3,860 Sasquatch package, while the Badlands needs the $2,495 Sasquatch package. Importantly, the mounts themselves are not included in the cost of these packages.

Other equipment has also changed. The adjustable spotlight, wireless charging, rain sensor, and universal garage door opener have been removed from the options list. On the plus side, the 20-centimeter central display is now standard on the Big Bend, Heritage, and Outer Banks trims. The larger 31-centimeter screen remains exclusive to the Badlands version.

The starting price for the 2026 Ford Bronco Sport is $31,845, excluding destination charges, slightly higher than the 2025 model. Ford appears to be aiming for more precise segmentation and increased option profitability. For buyers, this translates to more flexible configuration choices, but also a need to carefully calculate the final vehicle cost.
