ABT-tuned Audi RS Q8-S boosts power to 740-760 horsepower
Discover the ABT tuning package for Audi's RS Q8, enhancing it to 740-760 HP, making it a powerful sleeper SUV with understated styling and competitive pricing.
Audi's RS Q8 has received a new tuning package from ABT, making the already fast SUV significantly more powerful and visually striking. The exterior styling is understated, featuring matte carbon fiber on the front section, ventilation inserts with RSQ8-S badging, a rear spoiler, and a signature stainless steel quad-exhaust system. The kit is completed by 23-inch ABT IR23 wheels and a Level Control system that optimizes ride height and handling.
Inside, changes are minimal—only ABT branding on headrests, trim panels, and buttons. The main focus is on performance: while the standard RS Q8 produces 600 or 640 horsepower, the ABT package boosts output to 740 horsepower, or up to 760 horsepower in the top configuration. This makes the RSQ8-S one of the most powerful production SUVs, capable of easily competing with supercars, all while maintaining a restrained appearance.
ABT positions the new model as the perfect "sleeper SUV"—a practical family vehicle that also delivers top-tier sports car dynamics. The package starts at around $63,000.

The BMW X5 M Competition (625 horsepower) is the most driver-focused of the big German trio, with a stiff suspension, instant responses, and classic M-series handling. It feels quicker in some respects, but officially falls short of the RSQ8-S by nearly 120–135 horsepower, meaning the tuned Audi will have a clear advantage in straight-line acceleration. Plus, the RSQ8-S remains more "civilian" for everyday use.
The Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S (612 horsepower) emphasizes comfort and torque thanks to its EQ Boost system. It pulls smoothly, confidently, and sounds expensive, but in terms of raw performance, the tuned Audi simply pulls ahead: the power difference reaches 150 horsepower, putting them in different leagues. Meanwhile, Mercedes offers the most premium interior, something ABT deliberately leaves untouched.
In its 760-horsepower configuration, the RSQ8-S operates in the realm of hyper-SUVs like the Lamborghini Urus Performante and BMW XM Label Red, yet it stays more understated and visually calm. Its key advantage is the combination of a civilian appearance, massive power reserves, and a relatively moderate tuning package cost ($63,000), making it the most accessible way to join the "750+ horsepower club."
