The auction house RM Sotheby's will sell part of the Porsche collection owned by renowned collector and designer Magnus Walker. The auction, running from March 18 to 25, will feature 18 cars, most of which are based on classic Porsche 911 models.

Magnus Walker is well-known in the automotive world as one of Porsche's most dedicated enthusiasts and customizers. Over the years, he has amassed dozens of the brand's cars and created numerous unique projects. Now, part of his collection is heading to auction.

One of the rarest lots will be a 1976 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI. Only 113 of these cars were produced, featuring Bosch mechanical fuel injection and an engine similar to that of the legendary 1973 Carrera RS. The estimated value of this car ranges from $200,000 to $250,000.

The collection also includes early examples of the Porsche 911, such as a 1965 model—one of the first imported into the United States. Additionally, the auction will feature modified 928, 944, and 968 models from the 1970s and 1980s.

Another standout is a 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera Flat Nose—a replica of Walker's first Porsche. This car blends elements from different generations: a 2.7 MFI engine, a chassis from a 1973 911 E 2.4, and a body with styling cues inspired by the racing Porsche 935.

Some lots include unfinished projects. For example, the auction will offer a partially disassembled 1965 Porsche 911 and a set of parts for building a custom car.
