Bugatti and Honma just dropped a golf collection. The price tag on the top set rivals a brand-new sports car. Yes, really.

A golf club now costs as much as a sports car. Bugatti and Japanese maker Honma have unveiled a collection of clubs — and the prices are a story of their own. This happened, by the way, shortly after McLaren rolled out its own line of golf accessories. Coincidence? Hardly.

The collection spans putters, irons, drivers and woods. But the real star is the Super Premium Bugatti Putter in 4 Star and 5 Star versions. Its design draws on the rear of the Bugatti Tourbillon, while the sole references the brand’s tachometers. So yes, you’ll literally be swinging a piece of a hypercar.

Bugatti and Honma also prepared two more lines. The Beres Super Premium Collection is pitched as a collectible art object: the 3 Star and 4 Star versions come in an icy blue shade inspired by Bugatti’s signature two-tone livery. The 5 Star edition will be capped at just 20 sets worldwide — harder to track down than the Tourbillon itself.

The second line, Tour World Premium Collection, targets players who care about performance, not optics. These clubs are crafted from a titanium-carbon composite.

Now brace yourself for the prices. The 4 Star putter starts at $3,200. The 5 Star version — $9,600. The cheapest Tour World Premium Collection set goes for $6,500 and up. The Beres Super Premium kits start at $12,500, climb to $25,000, and top out at $72,000. For that money in the US, you can buy an actual car: a base Corvette Stingray runs roughly the same — around $70,000. Except the car does 300 km/h. The club just sits in your bag.
