Hyundai to co-host Global CEO Summit 2025 in Seoul, powered by hydrogen
Hyundai co-hosts the Global CEO Summit 2025 in Seoul, the first all-hydrogen event, using 50 NEXO FCEVs and buses as leaders discuss scaling and infrastructure.
Hyundai Motor Group announced it will co-host the Global CEO Summit 2025 in Seoul from December 2 to 4. The gathering is set to bring together around 200 executives and representatives from nearly 100 companies working in the hydrogen space, alongside delegates from Korea, France, Germany, and Australia. The mix suggests a coalition that’s steadily widening around fuel-cell technology.
Billed as the first international business forum to rely entirely on hydrogen-powered transport, the event will use a fleet supplied by Hyundai: 50 NEXO fuel-cell crossovers and six Universe buses will handle all attendee mobility. It’s a pointed choice that turns the city itself into a rolling demonstration.
The agenda spans scaling hydrogen projects, building out infrastructure, and sharpening regulation and standards. Delegates will also have the chance to drive the NEXO and visit the hydrogen refueling station at the National Assembly—hands-on exposure that often does more to move opinions than presentations alone.
Hyundai will additionally run a dedicated session on the Korean market with leading domestic companies, showcasing how the industry is advancing. The initiative underscores rising interest in cleaner-energy solutions and complements the momentum of battery-electric vehicles. Framing hydrogen as a partner rather than a rival to EVs feels like a practical message the market has been waiting to hear.
