According to CAAM, November sales of China-built vehicles, including exports, reached 3.43 million units, a 3.4% increase from a year earlier.

Inside China, however, the market cooled: domestic sales slipped 4% last month to 2.7 million vehicles. Exports moved the other way, jumping 48% to 728,000 units. The contrast suggests demand abroad is doing more of the lifting than the home market right now.

Across the first eleven months, the country’s auto industry sold 31.13 million vehicles, up 11% year on year.

From January through November, domestic sales rose 10% to 24.78 million units, while exports in the same period climbed 19% to 6.34 million. Taken together, the figures point to steady overall growth with an especially strong November showing overseas.
