Stellantis is reshuffling the management of its Lancia and DS Automobiles brands. As part of the FaSTLAne 2030 strategy, Lancia will become a specialized brand under Fiat's oversight, while DS Automobiles will be managed by Citroën.
The automaker has confirmed it is retaining all 14 brands, including Maserati. Earlier rumors suggested some brands might be sold or discontinued, but Stellantis says each has a clear role in achieving its targets through 2030.
The new plan calls for launching 110 new or updated models by the end of the decade. Details about future Lancia and DS models have not been disclosed, but both are expected to maintain their own identities rather than simply become high-end trims of Fiat or Citroën.
Lancia's sales remain low. According to ACEA, Lancia and Chrysler registrations fell 64% in 2025, to 11,754 units. In the first quarter of 2026, that figure rose 15.5%, to 4,072 cars. DS Automobiles saw a 22.5% decline in 2025, to 29,042 vehicles, and lost another 17.1% in Q1 2026.
Among the new models for 2026 and beyond, Lancia and DS are expected to occupy niche positions within the Stellantis group.
