Jaguar marked 90 years since releasing its first vehicle under its own name, staging a symbolic exhibition in central London. At The Chancery Rosewood hotel, the brand displayed side-by-side for the first time the original 1935 SS Jaguar and the Type 00 concept, which embodies the marque's future.

The historic SS Jaguar, created by William Lyons, made a splash in its era with its low roofline and long hood, a stark departure from the utilitarian British cars of the time. This moment cemented Jaguar's design philosophy, built on the 'copy nothing' principle that the company still follows today.

The Type 00 concept debuted in a new London Red color, inspired by Victorian London architecture, red telephone boxes, and double-decker buses. This project underscores Jaguar's pivot to a new chapter, emphasizing premium quality and electric technology.

The company also confirmed that the first production car under its renewed strategy will launch in 2026. It will be an all-new electric GT, joining the 2026 lineup and setting the direction for the brand's design and positioning in the coming years.
