Suzuki Across offers better value than Toyota RAV4 in the Netherlands
The plug-in hybrid Suzuki Across, with AWD and 300 hp, undercuts the Toyota RAV4 on value in the Netherlands, saving you up to €4,900 with similar equipment.
In the Netherlands, the Suzuki Across offers better value than the comparable Toyota RAV4, despite a higher nominal starting price. The Across begins at €52,695, while the RAV4 is listed from €49,995—but Toyota’s entry-point is a front-wheel-drive model, whereas the Suzuki comes exclusively with all-wheel drive.
According to foreign media reports, the Suzuki Across is essentially a rebadged Toyota RAV4, differentiated by Suzuki badges and a redesigned front fascia. All versions of the RAV4 and Across sold in the Dutch market feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

The Across produces 300 hp and comes standard with all-wheel drive. A similarly equipped AWD RAV4 starts at €52,995. In terms of equipment, the Suzuki Style trim closely matches the pricier Toyota RAV4 First Edition, which in all-wheel-drive form costs €57,595—making the Suzuki up to €4,900 cheaper.
The Suzuki includes wireless phone charging, extended power seat adjustments, a black headliner, and a generous standard equipment bundle. By contrast, the RAV4 First Edition adds 20-inch alloy wheels and ventilated seats, features not offered on the Across Style.
Additionally, the Across now offers a glass sunroof as a €995 option. It can cover up to 129 km on electric power alone. For families, plug-in hybrids like these are especially compelling because many daily journeys can be done without ever starting the petrol engine.
