General Motors has launched the updated 2026 Chevrolet Tracker in Chile. The model features a redesigned front end, a refreshed interior, and an expanded suite of technology and safety systems.
The lineup has been revised, with base versions eliminated. Now, only the LTZ and Premier trims are available. This change has increased the starting price, but all vehicles come with generous standard equipment.
Under the hood is a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine producing 132 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The electric power steering, suspension, and turbocharging operation have also been refined to improve efficiency.
The crossover will go on sale later this month, with deliveries coming from GM's plant in Brazil. Buyers can choose from six color options and receive a warranty of five years or 100,000 km. Such market introductions highlight a shift in focus from manufacturers toward more well-equipped versions and a rise in technology levels even in the mass-market segment.
